High-Performance Internal & External Fbe Coating Line Fusion Bonded Epoxy Application

Epoxy powder is a thermosetting, non-toxic coating material that forms a high-molecular cross-linked structure after curing. This structure delivers both excellent chemical anti-corrosion performance and high mechanical strength.

The FBE base layer is bonded and cured directly onto the steel pipe surface, forming a continuous, dense coating that provides:

• Strong adhesion
• Outstanding chemical corrosion resistance
• Excellent cathodic disbondment resistance

When used in multi-layer systems, the polymer adhesive bonds with the epoxy powder before gelation and integrates seamlessly with the outer polyethylene layer, creating a unified three-layer protective structure.
